Week 7

A. Venice Landscape

Venice Italy is the city on water. I have always wanted to travel to Venice and now that I have, I only want to go back. The city is a beautiful maze that is both mystical and romantic. By far, Venice was one of my favorite places I have travelled thus far. The landscape is so unique to Venice; being there was an amazing sight.

B. St. Marks Cathedral in Venice

St. Marks Cathedral is in the centre of St. Marks Square in Venice Italy. The detailed exterior was gorgeous against the pale blue sky. Thousands of people visit the square each day to see the impressive and breathtaking architecture.

C. Masks in Venice

This picture was taken in Venice Italy. All across the city vendors and stores housed hundreds of masks. Historically masquerading was a popular past time and most all Venetians took part. I thought they were beautiful hand make artefacts

D. Local of Milan

This photo was taken in Milan Italy. I was fascinated by the fashion in Milan. I noticed that the 80’s fashion is coming back ten fold all across Europe. This picture perfectly illustrates the 80’s comeback.

E. Lake Como, Italy: Nature

This photo was taken at Lake Como Italy. I like this photo because of the vast difference in landscape and nature. The bright blue water fills the lake, the green trees and luxurious homes cover the hills, and the Swiss Alps peak through in the distance.

F. Gran Canaria Beach at Night

This photo was taken on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands. While on vacation I took many day and dusk photos of the beach that I decided to capture a night photo. I like this picture because of tiny bright lights against the royal blue sky.

G. Abstract Coffee

This picture was taken in Milan Italy. I was walking through the city one day and came across this structure. It seemed very out of place and irrelevant to the setting of old buildings and cathedrals. I thought it was so strange I decided to take a picture of it. I wanted to take it from an obscure angle to capture the coffee cup structure in a unique manner.

H. Gondolas in Motion

This picture was taken in Venice Italy. I really like this picture because I was able to capture three different gondolas moving down the canal. It is an amazing and beautiful city.

I. Gallaria Vittorio Emanuele Low Angle

This photo was taken in Milan Italy. The Gallaria Vittorio Emanuele is a popular shopping center directly adjacent the Duomo. I like this photo because of the off set angle and large entrance. It really shows its grand presence in the square. Inside it only becomes more beautiful with glass ceilings, coffee shops, and stores.

J. Looking down on Gran Canaria
This picture was taken from the plane above Gran Canaria . I like this photo because it captures the coast line of the island and the presence of the right wing really gives depth to the photo.
